City of Cardiff Council
Cardiff Council use the Public Access Portal and Online Forms for both Planning and Building Control. Idox integrate LinguaSkin to offer an optional multilingual module for these solutions, enabling them to meet the essential bilingual requirement of the Council.
Caerphilly Council
As for other Councils in Wales, Caerphilly has an obligation for all citizen services to be equally available in both Welsh and English. When selecting an online planning portal, the use of LinguaSkin meant that Idox Public Access fully met this requirement.
Swansea Council
Swansea Council provides an online portal for citizens to review and comment on planning applications used the Public Access portal from Idox. LinguaSkin enables this application to be fully English/Welsh bilingual for the user to switch between languages.
Newport County Council
The Council uses Public Access from Idox Software to provide a public portal for planning, building control and licensing management. LinguaSkin has not only provided a switchable bilingual English/Welsh capability, but also enables Newport to add further languages with minimal hassle.
Torfaen Council
The Public Access portal from Idox Software is used by Torfaen for both building control and planning application review/comments. LinguaSkin has enabled the Council to meet regulatory requirements by providing this online service bilingually without needing to change the Idox system.
Monmouthshire County Council
LinguaSkin adds a multilingual module to Idox Public Access, enabling Idox to fully meet the requirement of Monmouthshire County Council to have all citizen services equally available in both Welsh and English with no technical integration effort.
